Hey, I’m Gee the face behind BBG! 👋
Bakes By Gee was born a few years back in January 2021 when I started to pursue my passion for baking as a little side hustle, along side my full time dental career.
Over the next few years, through trading at local events and markets, providing Cakes for special occasions and providing numerous local business with our goods, it was quite clear that the demand was there to enable me to pursue my dream full time.
So here we are. BBG has grown exponentially since 2021. Going from strength to strength and it’s not lost on me how lucky I am. Since 2022 we have also expanded in numbers as running a small business can be demanding.
So BBG increased in headcount and we welcomed my husband on board full time to help grow the business. This enabled us to expand even further into more markets and reach more potential customers.
We even built a commercial bakery on our premises as we completely outgrew our kitchen, which is testament to how far the business has come in such a short period.
